The end user required a new base to support its continually growing support staff and selected the 9 story building in the heart of London. The building was outdated and our client negotiated the project with Kentex Services, to provide a complete shell and core installation due to Kentex successful history of delivering such projects. Kentex also successfully designed in VE savings to our delighted client.

Kentex Services upon receipt of order produced a dynamic model of the building so that the new VRF system could be sized adequately to reduce energy consumption. A full HVAC & public health design was produced to all the latest water regulations/building regulations & CIBSE guidelines which was successfully signed off by the local building control.

Kentex Services installed fresh air ventilation within 5No riser shafts including 7No roof mounted air handling units. All new WC facilities with leak detection were also installed to each level.

The positioning of over 100 roof mounted condensers, air handing units, silencers, ductwork, kitchen supply/extract fans and life safety smoke extract systems to the 7th,8th, 10th & 11th floors in the heart of London proved a very complex procedure. To make things worse our client also requested we lift their roof insulation, steel work and ballast to these areas. Kentex services provided a tower crane to a side ally in association with the local planning council and over the period of 4 weeks, successfully positioned all plant and materials which included various programmes being co-ordinated with the clients trades
